Key Account Manager (Male)

  • The Key Account Manager works strategically to increase the awareness and create the demand of the company products and services. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying new business opportunities in the realm of technology-enabled patient support programmes. Beyond business development, you’ll play a pivotal role in nurturing client and partner relationships, all while supporting the Sales Unit in meeting and exceeding sales and profitability targets.
  • Customer Business Development (65%)
  • Meet sales objectives and focus on customer retention as well as improving overall customer satisfaction (also through digital channels).
  • 1. Identify customer potentials, i.e., opportunities for cross- and range-selling to existing customers and engage relevant stakeholders
  • 2. Set strategies and targets for growth of customers in assigned territory (sales plan); align with Sales Manager.
  • 3. Frequently conduct customer visits and prepare the meetings using all available tools and reports, coordinate, negotiate and close proposals.
  • 4. Liaise with relevant stakeholders to create in a timely manner the best solution for the customer complaint
  • 5. Act as major point of contact to customers in all commercial matters.
  • 6. Conduct market studies on potential new product opportunities by contacting customers to gather interest and test market demand.
  • 7. Leverage existing company connections to generate and maximize sales.
  • New customer generation (10%)
  • 1. Spot opportunities for launching sales projects in cooperation with other departments
  • 2. Identify and prioritise prospective customers.
  • 3. Get in contact with prospects and involve relevant stakeholders to nurture leads down the pipeline.
  • Sales and General Admin (15%)
  • 1. Ensure appropriate data administration and documentation of all business cases
  • 2. Update and maintain customer opportunity pipelines and potentials
  • 3. Complete and close all sales and revenue-related reporting.
  • Know- How Management (10%)
  • 1. Maintain an up-to-date level of service, technical, and application knowledge, e.g., via training.
  • 2. Keep up to date with changes and updates in the service/solution portfolio and in the market.
  • 3. Follow up and suggest means or ideas on how to stay aflaot and stand out from competitors
  • Experience/Qualifications
  • 1. 5-10+ years' experience in key account management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • 2. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite programs and diligent in using and learning CRM tools
  • 3. Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • 4. Strong networking and relationship-building skills to establish and maintain strong connections with key clients.
  • 5. Ability to provide excellent customer service and address client needs promptly and effectively.
  • 6. Result-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
  • 7. Continuous learning mindset to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging market opportunities.
