Accountant (Female)

  • As the Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and supervising junior accounting staff. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring compliance with accounting standards, providing financial analysis, conducting audits, and offering strategic advice to management. Job Description below but not limited to.
  • 1. Contribute technically to the company's accounting department.
  • 2. Process and post financial transactions on accounting software.
  • 3. Compute and manage compliance requirements (VAT, WHT,TF, ).
  • 4. Assist the senior Accountant in Preparing monthly/yearly financial statements and management accounts.
  • 5. Maintain proper books of accounts for Assets, Inventory, General Ledgers, Working Capital, etc.
  • 6. Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (ODOO to be specific).
  • 7. Create and manage Accounting Department SOPs, Policies, and Procedures.
  • 8. Track and analyse speciality reports, making recommendations for improvement.
  • 9. Report activities of the Accounts Department, including Accounts (Receivables & Payables), Cash, Billing, and Statutory Returns.
  • 10. Ensure accurate capturing of transactions in both medical services software (EMR) and accounting packages.
  • 11. Liaise with external bodies such as Banks, External Auditors, Tax Consultants, and Tax Authorities.
  • 12. Monitor and follow up on account receivables for prompt collection.
  • 13. Communicate and interpret financial data to non-financial managers.
  • 14. Supervise the preparation and monitoring of departmental annual budgets.
  • 15. Prepare the Fixed Asset Schedule, including verification and tagging.
  • 16. Inventory Management – document stock-in and stock-out, reconcile with the general ledger and generate inventory reports.
  • 17. Actively participate in quality improvement measures on the job.

Accountant (Female)

  • Experience/Qualifications
  • 1. Professional certification such as ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent is an added advantage.
  • 2. Proficient in IFRS standards.
  • 3. Exceptional skills in accounting software usage and data entry.
  • 4. In-depth understanding of accounting principles, including GAAP.
  • 5. Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications.
  • 6. Strong analytical abilities.
  • 7. Hands-on experience with Sage, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or similar platforms.
  • 8. Independent work capability.
  • 9. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is advantageous.
  • 10. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 11. Demonstrated work experience of at least 3 years as an Accountant or in a similar capacity.
  • 12. Thorough knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
  • 13. Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, with a focus on Excel.
  • 14. Excellent analytical skill, attention to detail, time management skill, effective communication, and organizational skills.
